Parents who have inquired with us are informed of all the required documents and steps in the admissions process through an email, which includes the exact schedule of application forms. Application forms are issued based on the vacancies existing in the grade applied for in the following year.

Procurement of Application Forms: The application fee can be paid in cashor by Google Pay. Cheques must be made in favour of LIMS Education Society. Families with more than one child must submit a separate application for each student. The application form and supporting documents must be submitted to the school within seven working days. Required documents include:

  • • Proof of date of birth (i.e. Birth Certificate or passport);
  • • Reports of the previous two years (if applicable);
  • • Most updated report of the current academic year (if applicable); and
  • • Relevant certificates regarding any medical concerns; and documents related to special learning needs (if applicable)

Registration of Application Form: The completed application form along with relevant documents must be submitted within 7 working days of having procured the application form.

Interaction with Student: The interaction is designed to familiarize your child with the school environment, understand his/her strengths and what makes him/her unique. The interaction is scheduled once the completed application form has been received and processed.

Interaction with Parents: After the student interaction, a school staff member will meet with the parent as well. This is an opportunity for us to meet with both parents’ one-on-one, learn more about your family’s goals for your child’s education, and answer any remaining questions before admissions decisions are conveyed.

Enrolment decisions may also be given on a rolling basis.

General Information


The course of studies of the school is arranged according to the syllabus laid down by the Department of Education, Maharashtra State. It prepares pupils for the Secondary School Certificate Examination.

The second languages taught are Hindi and Marathi (English for Marathi Medium). Pupils taking other languages will not be admitted even if they take private tuitions. Report on conduct application and progress are issued after each of the Two Unit Tests and the Semester Examinations. Parents are expected to sign these report cards and return them to the school.

PERSONAL APPEARANCE

THE SCHOOL UNIFORM
  1. Every Student admitted into this School, must have 2 sets of complete School Uniforms exact in colour, pattern and length. White socks (that reach half way to the knees) and black leather shoes, without any design. No sandals of any kind are allowed.
  2. During the cold months or when necessary the students are permitted the use of Navy-Blue cardigans only. During the monsoon’s students are permitted to use black rain shoes. White tennis shoes for drill only.
  3. Finger nails must be cut short and be kept clean Nail varnish is disallowed. Mehndi is strictly forbidden.
  4. Hair style for girls in school, hair should be either bobbed or plaited, and black ribbon should be used. White hair band is compulsory.
  5. Jewellery is not permitted and will be confiscated if worn with the school uniform, duringthe school hours.
A. RECOMMENDATIONS TO STUDENT
  1. Students are expected to conduct themselves in a manner befitting the dignity of a Convent Institution. The Pupils shall always greet their teachers, elders and friends in a pleasant and audible tone of voice, whenever they meet them either in school or outside it.
  2. They shall always maintain a good posture whether they sit, stand or walk.
  3. They shall be polite in speaking to one another, trying always to be cheerful and composed. They must take care never to interrupt anyone who is speaking.
  4. They shall be obedient to their parents and teachers giving them the respect and affection that is their due and accepting corrections and guidance cheerfully.It must be kept in mind that the "Family Spirit" is a characteristic of The Genius School.
  5. The children must thereof learn to look upon the school as an extension of their home and do their best to cherish and preserve in school a spirit of Loving and Giving.

**No student is allowed to celebrate her Birthday in School or distribute sweets or any articles in the class or in the premises of the School.

II. DEAR STUDENTS

Here are some tips for your studies.

  1. Start with a clean desk.
  2. Sit up Straight, Straight body ... Straight thinking.
  3. Take up first, subjects that you most dislike. Once you have done this, the rest of your work will be easy.
  4. Find out what is most important.
  5. Study what is most important first.
  6. Do not hesitate to ask your teacher or your clever companion’s things you cannot grasp clearly. Never omit any difficulties whatsoever as this will put you in greater difficulties later.
  7. Never omit the lesson or homework assigned.
  8. Always revise the work done in class and make sure that you have understood everything clearly and thoroughly.
  9. If memory work is assigned, learn it overnight and repeat it first in the morning.
  10. Use your diary to take down the work assigned for the next day. All homework should be done neatly, and the day's work should always be dated. Revise at the end of the week.
  11. Get enough exercise every day. It keeps the mind fresh.

A student must have completed the previous grade from a recognized school. The age criteria followed by the school is applicable to decide the grade eligibility.

Yes, Students prefer they may carry lunch from home.
The student teacher ratio is 1:20 for the lower grades. From Grade 1 onwards we maintain class strength of 25 students with one teacher.
We have a team of Special Educators who run our Students Success Programme which supports the needs of students with differing learning abilities.
The assessment will be in English and Math’s. We have students who come from different curriculum national. No special preparation is required for this as it helps give the school an idea about the ability level of the student.
Home work is used as a skill building tool and home work for the sake of it is not encouraged. Therefore, from Play school to higher level the students would have homework that helps them to build on self-management, research skills. While students from Grade 6 will have approximately 1hr. and 30 minutes of homework every day given keeping the same purpose in mind.
The students have Physical Education (PE), Dance, Music, Yoga and Martial Arts are paid and falls as a part of the regular curriculum.
We offer Hindi, Marathi, and French and German is an optional. No. of students should be minimum 20 students.
Assessment is done on the basis of daily class-work and project work, we have 4 Unit Test contains of 20/50 and 2 formal exams in 50/100 these grades. The school uses open-day method which facilitates the direct communication and coordination between parents and teachers with respect to the class work updates. Parents are given a personal access to meet teachers on weekly or monthly baseson formal meetings of the school.
